W.O. Smith Music School’s mission is to make affordable, quality music instruction available to children from low-income families. They serve children 7-18 living in the metropolitan Nashville area. Classes and lessons are 50 cents each. Students are provided with an instrument of their choice, a volunteer teaching artist and any necessary musical materials for their studies. They are located just up the street from the studio on Eighth Ave.

Hot Barkan Vinyasa Flow (60 minutes)

This Hatha/Vinyasa style class is based on Jimmy Barkan’s Method of Hot Yoga, consisting of five Vinyasa flows that integrate many of the familiar postures in the Hot 26 series. This class is dynamic and challenging but suitable for all levels. Since it is a fairly set sequence of flows, new practitioners will quickly acclimate and experienced practitioners will be able to explore the depths of their practice and variations more easily. This class is heated to approximately 95-100 degrees.
